Been enjoying Flex Builder lately. Built on Eclipse, it is therefore a great environment: Wysiwyg window builder, good code management, useful new document templates, SVN integration... We've quickly prototyped an AIR app for remote learning object access and the environment allows a design that adheres to sane coding practices.

There's been a lot of talk in podcasts and the web/net-osphere about how Flash is too dominant. I guess this is about Flash as a codec, for example its dominance on YouTube. But otherwise, even if it is dominant what is the alternative? I am enjoying Flex Builder as an application development kit.

I can't really argue with an object-oriented, cross platform environment that is easy to use.
